Beijing, China, July 20, 2026 — Jacobio Pharma (1167.HK) today announced that the first patient has been dosed in China in a Phase Ib/III clinical trial of JAB-23E73, an oral pan-KRAS inhibitor, in combination with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine for the first-line treatment of KRAS-mutant pancreatic cancer.

The initiation of the study is supported by encouraging preliminary data from the ongoing Phase I trial of JAB-23E73. As of January 15, 2026, 42 patients with solid tumors, all treated in second-line or later settings, had been enrolled in China. Grade 3 treatment-related adverse events were observed in 11.9% of patients (5/42), with no Grade 4 or Grade 5 treatment-related adverse events reported. No Grade 3 or higher rash, mucositis, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea was observed. Among 13 evaluable pancreatic cancer patients treated within the predicted effective dose range of ≥160 mg once daily, the objective response rate was 38.5%.

JAB-23E73 is an oral pan-KRAS inhibitor independently developed by Jacobio. Jacobio has exclusively licensed JAB-23E73 to AstraZeneca on a worldwide basis except for the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macau Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan). With regard to China, the two parties shall jointly develop and co-commercialise JAB-23E73. KRAS mutations are highly prevalent in pancreatic cancer. The initiation of this study represents an important milestone in the development of JAB-23E73.
